Remitting contributions
Several routes are available to remit contributions. Please bear in mind that the most efficient routes are those which utilise the fund's data systems, with electronic registration. For details of the routes available, click here.
Five routes are available to remit contributions. Remitting through payroll systems and internet delivery is recommended.
Remitting through payroll systems
Many payroll systems offer the possibility of sending remittance forms directly to pension funds.
The following information must be entered into the payroll system:
- the company's username for LV's employers' web;
- the company's password for LV's employers' web;
- the e-mail address to which the remittance form is sent: netskil@live.is .
This is the most efficient way of delivering remittance forms for wage payers. It has the following advantages:
- Sending remittance forms electronically saves both time and expense, as they do not have to sent by mail.
- Payment of remittances can be made through any online bank.
- Security is increased by using electronic remittance forms, as the information they contain need not be entered again.
- The status of remittances can be viewed, i.e. whether they are being processed by the wage payer, await entry or have been entered in the fund's entitlement records.
Bear in mind that payment has not been made when remittance forms are delivered.
Web-based remittance
Web-based remittance is a simple way to remit contributions through the employers' website.
Apply for access to the employers' website.
Once your company has been granted access:
Log onto the employers' website.
Once you have logged onto the employers' website, information is available there on its use.
The employers' website is simple to use and facilitates the work of remitting pension fund contributions and union dues. Simple and easy-to-follow instructions are provided on the employers' website on all the steps for web-based remittances.
Sending web-based remittances has additional advantages:
- Sending remittance forms electronically saves both time and expense, as they do not have to sent by mail.
- Payment of remittances can be made through any online bank.
- Security is increased by using electronic remittance forms, as the information they contain need not be entered again.
- The status of remittances can be viewed, i.e. whether they are being processed by the wage payer, await entry or have been entered in the fund's entitlement records.
Bear in mind that payment has not been made when remittance forms are delivered.
We recommend using one of the two above options.
Doing so will make it easier for you to keep track of remittance forms electronically. In addition, these are quicker and more secure routes which can spare all parties a lot of work.
